Charlottesville Etc.

This past weekend Ben and I, along with another couple, hit up beautiful Charlottesville, VA. It was a fun 4 day get away with good friends and activities; 'glamping', wine tasting, enjoying downtown Charlottesville and spending plenty of chill time in the yurt. Here are the places we went and a few photos from the weekend. I took so many pictures, as usual, it was hard to narrow it down.

Our itinerary:
On our drive down Friday we stopped in Leesburg, VA at the delicious Doner Bistro for lunch and La Grange winery for a little afternoon wine tasting.

Saturday we spent the day in downtown Charlottesville. After a delicious brunch with the locals at Bluegrass Grill and Bakery we hit up a few of our favorite shops on the 'mall';  Urban Outfitters, Rock Paper Scissors, and Caspari before getting pedicures at Nanda Nails. The guys happily chilled at the Cville Smoke Shop. Afterwards we all met up for an afternoon pick me up at Mudhouse Coffee.

Sunday was our wine tasting day so we picked up the essential food to bring along at Feast! then made the rounds to Sharp Rock, Kings Family and Pollak vineyards. We were blessed with an absolutely gorgeous day.

Monday was our final day so we went to one of our favorite wineries in the area Keswick Vineyards before heading back to Philadelphia.

Hope my little guide helps you if you plan on heading to Cville in the near future...xoxo.
Doner Bistro and Biergarten...delicious food, drinks and candy! (Ben, who grew up in Germany, was in heaven.)

Our accommodations for the weekend...a luxury yurt...therefor the term glamping (glamorous camping).

Mudhouse Coffee...loved the interior!

Picking up some snacks before hitting up the wineries...dried meats, cheese, bread, crackers, fruit...yum!

Enjoying the beautiful day at Sharp Rock Vineyards.

The gorgeous Sharp Rock Vineyards.
