I'm Back...

Hey Readers! Hope it was a great week/weekend. I flew in late last night from an amazingly relaxing trip to the lake in Minnesota. Of course my photo program is acting up today so I will try and get things working by tomorrow for a more normal post. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on the blog and life in Philly.

Have a good Monday...xoxo!

Crepes

One of my favorite brunch items are crepes with all of its delicious toppings. Here is the recipe and toppings I love...

Crepes:
3 eggs
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons sugar
milk (to a runny consistency)

*this will make you about 6 crepes....double or triple for more.

After mixing everything together, to a runny consistency, you are ready to make the crepes. Make sure your pan is warm and you have a no-stick cooking spray to use between every crepe you pour. After pouring the crepe swirl batter around the pan to make it as thin as possible. Crepes should be paper thin.

Once all your crepes are ready eat immediately. Here are some of my favorite topping ideas.

Toppings:
-Strawberries and whip cream
-Applesauce and cinnamon/sugar
-Peanut butter and bananas
-Butter and cinnamon/sugar
-Jam

*these are just a few ideas...be creative with it!

My favorite...strawberries and whip cream!

Favorite Four

TGIF! (Sorry I had to:) Hope you all had a great week. My favorite four from this week, (clockwise from top left) 1-Loved spending a long weekend in Cape May, NJ... so relaxing! 2-I had a Magnum Caramel Double this week. I would have them all the time when I lived in Sweden but they just recently came to the U.S. and I still think of it as a really special treat every time I have one. 3-I drove by the Divine Lorraine this week, it is my favorite Philadelphia building.  So beautiful and sadly abandoned. 4-I got all these gladiolas for $3 this week...they are so stunning!

Have a great weekend...xoxo!

Cape May: Day 2

I know Wednesdays are usually saved for fashion posts but in an effort to keep the Cape May photos together I am switching things up. Here are a few more photos from our mini trip to the shore. xoxo

Checking out the iconic Congress Hall.

Cape May's beautiful bird observatory right on the ocean.

The Cape May lighthouse, next to the bird observatory.

Ending our day at the gorgeous Virginia Hotel for drinks and live piano music.
